What we collect
Nothing, unless you turn on backup. Hypr4 works without an account and has no ads, no analytics services and no tracking.
What stays on your device
Your workouts, routines, records, body measurements and settings are stored on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them. You can export a copy any time in You > Privacy center.
Progress photos
Only if you add them. Hypr4 uses the camera or your photo library when you choose to, and keeps the photos in the app on your phone. They are never uploaded, aren't part of backup and sync, and are left out of Android's cloud backup.
Imports
When you import a Strong or Hevy export, the file is read on your phone and its workouts are added to your history there. The file isn't sent anywhere.
Backup and sync
Backup is part of Hypr4 Pro and is off until you sign in. When you do, we store your email address (or the private relay address Sign in with Apple provides) and the training data you log, so it can sync to your other devices. The data is kept in our database hosted by Supabase. You can delete your account and this data in the app under You > Back up & sync.
Apple Health and Health Connect
Only if you turn them on. Hypr4 reads your bodyweight and saves finished workouts. Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and leaves your device only if you back up your training.
Apple Watch and Wear OS
Sets you log on your watch go straight to your phone. Heart rate is read on the watch during a workout and saved with the workout in Apple Health.
Notifications
Rest alerts, workout reminders and the monthly recap reminder are scheduled on your device. We don't run a notification server.
Purchases
Hypr4 Pro is sold through Apple and Google. They handle payment and we never see your payment details. The app only checks with the store whether Pro is active.
Video demos
Watch on YouTube opens a YouTube search for the exercise. YouTube's own privacy policy applies there.
Children
Hypr4 is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
